Multi-Component Coupling Reaction
Multi-Component Coupling Reaction
1) 1,6-Diynes through a Cu(I)-Cu(II)-catalyzed five-component coupling reaction
A multi-bond formation in a single step and its facile operation in the experiment
3) Benzofurans through a Cu(I)-Cu(II)-catalyzed three-component coupling reaction
1) In the case with an alkylnylsilane, unlike a conventional Sonogashira-Hagihara coupling, a Pd-catalyzed arylalkynylation proceeds smoothly, producing a four-substituted alkene, the enyne derivative.

2) A Cu(I)-Cu(II)-catalyzed seven- or five-component coupling reaction based on a Strecker-type reaction

1) Indium bromide efficiently catalyzed a three-component coupling reaction of alkynes, amines, and a organosilicon compound, such as a hydrosilane or trimethylsilyl cyanide, leading to the production of aniline derivatives or quaternary α-aminonitriles. These reactions proceed through hydroamination of alkynes and subsequent nucleophilic addition.
