Profile

Tsutomu Kimura was born in Gifu, Japan in 1978. He received his Ph.D. from Gifu University in 2005 under the guidance of Prof. Murai. Then, he went to the Institute for Molecular Science where he worked for two years as a postdoctoral fellow with Prof. Uozumi. In 2007, he moved to the Center for Emerging Infectious Disease of Gifu University and worked for four years as an assistant professor. In 2011, he joined the research group of Prof. Satoh at the Tokyo University of Science as an assistant professor. In 2014, he was appointed as a junior associate professor at the Tokyo University of Science and was promoted to associate professor at the Tokyo University of Science in 2021.
