院生が國立臺灣大學に滞在・共同研究

佐野 (M1)がNSTC International Internship Pilot Program (IIPP)を通じて，6月1日から8月10日までの71日間，國立臺灣大學機械工程學系の蔣雅郁副教授主宰研究室 (Multi-scale Fluid Manipulation Lab)に滞在し，共同研究を実施しました．

Through the NSTC International Internship Pilot Program (IIPP), Sano (M1) conducted a 71-day research stay at the Multi-scale Fluid Manipulation Lab, led by Prof. Ya-Yu Chiang in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, National Taiwan University, from Jun. 1 to Aug. 10, and carried out collaborative research.

国際会議 46th COSPAR Scientific Assemblyで院生が発表

伴 (M2)，堀内 (M1)がイタリア・フィレンツェで開催された46th COSPAR Scientific Assemblyにて口頭発表をしました．

なお，堀内は本発表に対し，公益財団法人スズキ財団より助成をいただいています．

Ban (M2) and Horiuchi (M1) made oral presentations at the 46th COSPAR Scientific Assembly (1st–9th Aug. 2026; Florence, Italy).

Horiuchi received financial support from the Suzuki Foundation for this presentation.

国際会議 US-Japan & Euro-Japan Joint Conference on Composite Materialsで院生が発表

中野 (M1)，松永 (M1)が福岡で開催された21st US-Japan and 18th Euro-Japan Joint Conference on Composite Materialsにてポスター発表をしました．

Nakano (M1) and Matsunaga (M1) made poster presentations at the 21st US-Japan and 18th Euro-Japan Joint Conference on Composite Materials (16th–17th Jul. 2026; Fukuoka, Japan).

IIT (BHU) Varanasiから研究者が訪問・滞在

IIT (BHU) VaranasiのPattern-formation & Interfacial-Instabilities Lab (PI-Lab)より，Dr. Dinesh BhagavatulaさんとGyandeepさんが本研究室に滞在し，研究を行いました．Gyandeepさんは2026年4月から6月までの3ヶ月間，Dr. Dineshさんは2026年6月の1ヶ月間滞在しました．滞在期間中には，非常に密な研究議論を交わしました．本研究交流は，LOTUSプログラムに採択された共同研究課題に関連して実施されました．

Dr. Dinesh Bhagavatula and Gyandeep from the Pattern-formation & Interfacial-Instabilities Lab (PI-Lab), IIT (BHU) Varanasi, stayed and conducted research in our laboratory. Gyandeep stayed for three months from Apr. to Jun. 2026, and Dr. Dinesh stayed for one month in Jun. 2026. We had intensive research discussions during their stay. This research exchange was conducted in connection with a collaborative research project adopted under the LOTUS Programme.

NASA宇宙飛行士 Donald R. Pettit氏が本研究室を訪問

NASA宇宙飛行士のDonald R. Pettit氏らが，本研究室を訪問されました．宇宙滞在中の経験や，ロケット機体に占める推進剤質量の割合，宇宙空間における表面張力を利用した実験などについてお話しいただきました．

NASA astronaut Donald R. Pettit and accompanying guests visited our laboratory. He shared his experiences in space, discussed the propellant mass fraction of rocket vehicles, and introduced experiments using surface tension in space.
