25th Quasicrystals meeting(2nd Hypermaterials Young Research Seminar)

The Quasicrystal Study Group has been held every year by Professor TSAI An-Pang of Tohoku University for many years. Professor TSAI passed away two years ago, and last year, the new academic field "Hypermaterials" started, so the 2nd meeting was held as the 24th quasicrystal study group. This year's quasicrystal study group was held online and was attended by 70 researchers and students from inside and outside the field. This time, we created a young session within the quasicrystal study group, which also served as a young study group in a new academic field, and was presented by many students like the conventional quasicrystal study group. The "1st TSAI An-Pang Award" was awarded to those who made excellent presentations from young researchers (39 years old or younger). On the second day, a lecture "Electronic Properties in Quasicrystals" was given by Professor Noriaki Sato of Nagoya University, and on the third day, a lecture "Hyper Materials Informatics: Basics and Applications of Data Science" was given by Professor Ryo Yoshida of the Institute of Statistical Mathematics.
